Marissa's Baptism

With all the family dinners this weekend I figured it would be a good time to hand out invitations to Marissa's Baptism. Everyone is invited. Courtney did a great job taking her photo. I am thinking we might be able to play a guessing game with this photo. Guess how many freckles Marissa has and win a prize. The problem with that game is she get's new ones everyday.

Miss you.

Last month Derek and I went with Grandma and Grandpa to meet My new Niece. Derek decided that Arizona is a long way away. Not to far two weeks later he wanted to go again. He had a great time with his cousin Sadie. He loved the park and her pool.

Sadie is crazy. They made these candy necklaces and two weeks later her mom sent me a photo of her and she still had candy on it. Derek and David ate theirs the first day.
This is Eve. She is the chunkiest cutes baby I have seen sense my own.
We had a great time with David. He is so good. He loves both his sisters and is a hard worker. You should see him empty a dishwasher. I started out the trip sharing a bed with Derek but then Sadie kicked me out. She wanted to sleep with Derek. I went in after they fell asleep and found them spooning.
This is David emptying the dishwasher. I wish my kids smiled that big while doing their chores. We are counting the days until they come to visit next month.

It's official she chose.....

Nicole has done her best to keep us all in suspense about what school she was going to but yesterday she made it official. She chose BYU. I told her once we spent any money on school she had to decide. Yesterday we put a deposit on her housing. She is not sure she believes anything that everyone is telling her about BYU. Like freshmen never get the classes they want she got all hers. Also housing is hard to get. Last week was her sign up time and there was no housing available this week she got the housing that she wanted. So far so good.

Dallen

It is spring break and that means I get to take all the kids grocery shopping. That means the cost goes up because everyone wants something. To make my life a little easier I assign a little kid to a big kid so no one gets lost. Courtney and Dallen were together. Courtney wanted some deodorant so they headed off to that isle. When they returned Dallen had some also.
He was so excited that he sprayed it everywhere. When Nicole's friend Rachael came over he was so excited about it that he told her. At dinner Courtney was making fun of Dallen saying he has put it on 4 times sense we got home. Dallen said " No it was five times."

great Idea

I copied this straight from my sister Lolly's blog. I joined. It sounds like a great idea.

JILL

More Fit for the Kingdom

Sarah, is organizing a 12 week fitness program to help people like me get back into shape. It is a well rounded program and includes challenges that change every week (no sugar, no eating after 7:30, 4 servings of veggies each day, etc.) and daily challenges for the whole 12 weeks (1/2 hour of exercise, scripture study, personal prayer, no soda, etc.) You earn points for completing different portions of the challenge and she is going to keep track of all the points and put them on a spreadsheet so that we are all accountable to each other.

I have NEVER been good at exercising, but my lingering baby weight makes me very open to the idea and I know that being accountable to others will help me stick to it.

It starts April 11th. Any one else inspired to join?? Check out the blog that she has started for more details and either contact me or her to join

Grandpa Dales 80th Birthday

Grandpa Dale had a decision to make. He could quietly turn 80 or he could party it up. Well anyone who knows him knew the decision was an easy one. Grandpa loves a good party. We celebrated with a few hundred of his favorite people. We were all put in charge of something for the party. Many of us preformed in a program were as Grandpa said " This is an occasion were it is ok for me to show off my posterity.
The Birthday boy at 80 years Young
The Food.... We had Two kinds of cake four kinds of cupcakes, Fruit, Vegetables and Chicken sandwiches.

My Assignment was the centerpieces. I made paper flowers with candy sticks for stems.

My Favorite Photo of the night (there were 228 photos taken) Brecklyn and Derek.

My Favorite Dance of the night. Emma, Courtney, Dominique and Rebecca performed their rendition of the Nepolian dynamite(grandpas favorite movie) dance. We made the T-shirts just for this dance.

My Second favorite Dancer of the night. Grandpa is on the left the guy on the right was using this walker. During the program this man whos name I do not know was dancing behind his walker. It was very cute and brought a smile to my face. It was a fun evening I look forward to his 90th.
