Christmas morning

Christmas eve they all had their new jammies and were getting ready to open the boxes
Nicole knew what she was getting as a gift but she thought it was backordered. We surprised her whe was very happy to find that she got it now and not in a week or two.
Courtney got a new bed. Her old one fell apart last year when My cousin came to visit. She got all new bedding and lots of new clothes.
Dallen was very excited about everything that he got.
Marissa was always excited.

Sunday at grandmas

Sunday night at Grandmas is one of our favorite time's of the week. This week we decorated Sugar cookies. Marissa had a cold so we gave her a place all her own. We didn't want anyone else to eat the cookies that she Frosted. Danny and Natalie sat and talked to her the whole time she had a great time.

Courtney is always a great photo object. She had the best time decorating and she is good at it she worked fast and helped get the cookies done fast.

Sometimes when it is Sunday night I think Grandmas is tired and just wants us to go home. Then she starts planning the next Sunday night as soon as she gets a good night sleep.

Preschool program

Marissa had a preschool Christmas program. They sang 8 great songs for the parents. I loved watching all the kids they all were so different. I love Rudolf the red nose reindeer and away in a manger. They had movements and props for all the songs. Marissa did great for her first performance. I don't know how miss Bessy pulls it off. We have sure enjoyed Preschool.

Room with a view

We have the most amazing view of the mtn. from the back of our house. Sometime we take it for granted. I love to sit on the deck in the summer and watch as they get dark. I also love to look at them from the kitchen table as we eat.

Last Sunday our home teacher came and as we were waiting for David to join us. Chuck the home teacher said "I love the view from this room I could sit and watch the mountains" Marissa in her four years of wisdom said "You watch T.V. from here also" we all had a good laugh.

So this was this years attempt at a Christmas Card Photo. My kids are beter looking in person. It might not have been so bad if Marissa had not had a meltdown just before we took the photo
Marissa finally stopped crying by the last photo but by then I was crying. Maybe next year.

I worked hard on Trying to get a good Photo for a Christmas Card and failed. I wish I could have made a cute card but David did not like anythat I made so today I took a trip to hallmark so I could send the very best. I thought some of you might enjoy seeing my failed attempts.
