That is Dan and I at the top of the High temple. Neither of our spouses made an effort to climb the temple. I think it was the best excursion that we could have gone on. We had a group of 250 people that went. The guides were not LDS but they gave us great insite to the people of Belize and the culture. John Lund and the Cruise lady leaders were able to give us LDS insite to these ruins. It was well worth it. I hope to return to Belize and spend some more time in the country.

un Beliezeable
It is hard to believe that 2 weeks ago today we were in a warm place enjoying the sun. We were in Belieze and as our guide said it was un-Beliezable. I had a great time. We left the ship and boarded a bus and traveled about an hour. Our tour guides were very knowlegable and lectured about the people of Belieze it was very educational.
After the Bus ride we had a Belizean lunch. It was very good just as good as the food on the ship.
Then we boarded spead boats and traveled down the river about 35 minutes to the ruins.
WE arived in Lamanai a spot that John Lund believes to be a great candadate for a place where some of book of morman stories took place.
If you look you can see John Lund Reading the speech of King Benjamen. He only had to talk and we were all able to hear him in the clearing that we were in. This was called the temple of the Jaguar.
This is the High temple. We were able to climb it and see out all over the valley it was an interesting view of the jungle.
I love this Photo. If I blow it up I can find most of the family in it. David is taking the photo Debby is in the clearing. Kelli and Richard are climbing down. Dan, Deryl, Isabel and I are just below the top at the end of the stairs. I still need to find Lori and David.

Gandma sledding
Grandma came over to visit today and we were all in the backyard playing in the snow. The kids talked her in to ridding the slide that they had made in the back yard. She is a good sport. Enjoy!(we sure did)

Jumping Jack flash
We went and watched Karaoke several times one night some of us even participated. I left the singing up to those that can carry a tune. Dan walked in the room and knew what he wanted to sing right away. The Lori and Kelli took a lot longer. It was fun to See Dan sing. Lori took this video with her camera.

food (this is for you Jill)
We sat with Dan and Debby at most dinners. Debby wouldn't let us eat unless she was able to take a picture of the food. She blamed it on her sister Jill. She said Jill would love to see the photos. We soon found that if we took the pictures of the food our self we could get to eat faster. It is kind of nice to look back and see what we ate. I enjoyed the food so much I even bought their cookbook.

Depression
Monday on the news it said it was the most depressing day of the year. People were back to work and had not had a day off sense the "holidays" They were starting to get their bills from overspending at Christmas and the weather was usually really cold.
I am depressed. Because I just got back from a great vacation. This is where we were just a few short days ago, it seems like years now that we are back in the cold.

We swam and went on the water slide.
